Our Ultra Malbec stands out for its intense red color with ruby at the rim. The nose offers intensely fruity aromas as blueberry and ripe plum accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper and rosemary.
The palate is well rounded with smooth, elegant tannins complemented by a well-balanced acidity. This is a powerful and lively wine with a pleasing finish recalling black fruits, vanilla, and tobacco.
The wine can be enjoyed now or aged for at least 10 years.
Best decanted for 30 minutes prior to serving at 18–20oC (64-68oF). The wine’s tannic structure allows it to pair well with red and white meats with a variety of sauces, soft and creamy cheeses, and sweet desserts.
Vineyards: Uco Valley (Vistaflores, Altamira, and Gualtallary). Most of the vines were planted prior to 1970 in vineyards 1,000 meters above sea level.

Harvest: In 15-kg boxes
Reception: Manual selection of bunches and grapes prior to entering the cellar. vinification: Pre-fermentation maceration for 7 days at 10oC (50oF).
Alcoholic Fermentation: for 7 days at 28oC (82oF).
Post-fermentation maceration for 14 days at 22oC (71oF).
Barrel Aging: 100% of the blend was aged in French oak barrels of 1, 2, and 3 uses for 12 months.
Fining and Filtering: Natural ning and very gentle ltering prior to bottling.
Alcohol: 14.5 %
